And now for something completely different. Excited to announce that I’m going to lead the building of a new business at ExxonMobil focused on the (very) large scale decarbonization of the industrial economy. We’ll be significantly moving the needle toward net zero in the most hard-to-decarbonize industries, in an economically viable way, and with urgency. To do this we’ll draw on the deep resources and know-how that exist inside of ExxonMobil today, together with the best external ideas and an initial $15 billion capital commitment that the company has made to build this business and reduce emissions. Having spent the last few years leading the incredible team at Cruise as we took self-driving cars from the realm of science fiction to an early commercial product that will fundamentally change transportation, the bar was always going to be high in terms of what next mission could have a similarly massive potential impact. That said, with this opportunity I think I’ve found it! #exxonmobil
Congrats!
Good luck with your new position. Job seems overwhelming but any progress would be beneficial to all of us.

Excellent, surely would love to part of this.
Good Luck Danny Boy!!!
Congratulations!

1yDear Mr. Ammann, Interesting. We have created a solution which is paid by the consumer, and which saves industrialised countries who have Time Of Use billing an average of €210 per household per year for 24 years. We start production October/November. We are looking for investors, not because we NEED it, but because it will shorten TTM by some 12 to 18 months. Our solution will save 3% of the CO2 emissions globally, when fully implemented in 1.5 billion out of the worlds 2.4 billion households. Let me inbox you. Sincerely David Svarrer
