Sensenbrenner's town hall gets heated
There were some tense moments at town hall meetings across the country Saturday, including at U.S. Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner's.
People packed the Pewaukee Public Library on Saturday afternoon to hear from the Menomonee Falls Republican.
He took questions on the health care system, Social Security and President Donald Trump's executive order on immigration.
Several members of the audience held up "agree" and "disagree" signs when Sensenbrenner answered.
"It's not a ban," Sensenbrenner responded during one exchange about the president's executive order on travel, "It's not a ban. I'm sorry you're wrong."
The congressman will hold another town hall meeting Sunday afternoon in Elm Grove.
Much angrier crowds greeted congressmen at town hall meetings across the country.
The crowd booed Utah Republican U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz's during his event Thursday night near Salt Lake City. There were similar disruptions in Florida at U. S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis' event Saturday.
